HEAVY MACHINERY AND HEAVY LIFTS

  1. (a) The following charges, which cover freight, also cranage on and off steamers, will apply for the conveyance of heavy machinery, or single packages, n.o.s. between Kingston and Queenstown and intermediate calling places or between Queenstown and Head of Lake and intermediate calling places :

(b) Heavy machinery or single packages, n.o.s., conveyed under the provisions of this paragraph, consigned between the following points will be charged as under :

Half Way Bay Mt. Creighton
Cecil Peak Mt. Nicholas
Woolshed Elfin Bay
Greenstone
Glenorchy Kinloch At half the rates specified in subparagraph (a) hereof.

(c) Heavy machinery or single packages, n.o.s., of 18 cwt. or over per package will be accepted and delivered at the ship’s side only.
