Decisions of the Bureau of Industry Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936,
the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Pharmacy Industry

A. Loverich and D. Richardson, 29 Franklin Road, Ponsonby, Auckland, have applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Farringdon Street (opposite Intermediate School), Tamaki, Auckland.

K. J. Curran, Flat 5, Symondsville Flats, Symonds Street, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 131-133 Cambridge Road, Hamilton.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit

R. L. Callaghan, 256 Augustus Street, Thames, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed garage premises at Mary Street, Thames.

P. P. Martin, Raumati South, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed service-station and lubritorium premises at Poplar Avenue, Raumati South.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 11 February 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

Pursuant to section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Green Island Iron Rolling Mills Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1140, situated at Dunedin, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.
