Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 22nd day of November 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 33·56 perches.

Being Lot 32, D.P. 15969, being part of Reserve “L” of the Town of Wanganui, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 481, folio 178, Wellington Land Registry.

Situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District, City of Wanganui.

NOTICE is hereby given that on 4 November 1954 the undermentioned standard specification was amended by the Minister of Industries and Commerce by incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:

Number and Title of Specification: N.Z.S.S. 1228: Carbon steel castings for surface hardening; being B.S. 1760:1951.

Amendment: No. 1 (Ref. No. PD 1630) 18 May 1953.

Price of Copy (Post Free): 2s.

Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton Quay (P.O. Box 195), Wellington C.1. Copies of the amendment will be supplied, free of charge, upon request.
