Result of Poll for Proposed Loan
PURSUANT to the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the following notice received by the Minister of Finance from the Chairman of the Bruce Rabbit Board is hereby published.

BRUCE RABBIT BOARD
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Bruce Rabbit Board, taken on the 3rd day of September 1954, on the proposal of the Bruce Rabbit Board to borrow the sum of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500) for the purpose of refunding to general accounts moneys applied in the purchase of a dwelling:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 216. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 134. The number of votes which were informal was 6.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
A. J. C. Holton, Great South Road, Tironui, Papakura, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station and garage premises at Great South Road, Tironui, Papakura.
Te Aroha-Thames Valley Co-op. Dairy Co. Ltd., Turua, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed at dairy-factory premises at Turua, such pump to be transferred from the dairy-factory premises of the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Co-op. Ltd., at Terminus Street, Te Aroha; and to retail motor spirit otherwise than through pumps, ex Turua premises; all sales to be restricted to suppliers of the company.
Kaingaroa Forest Stores Ltd., Kaingaroa Forest Village, Rotorua, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Kaingaroa Forest Village, Rotorua.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 4 November 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.
