NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry dated 1 October
1954 in the minute book of the above-named company
the following special resolution was duly passed:
'That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Mr Russell J. H. Boyd, Public Accountant, of Christchurch,
be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.'

All persons having claims against the company are
requested to render accounts for same with full particulars
to the undersigned not later than 20 October 1954.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and
amendments, the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Local
Bodies' Loans Amendment Act 1951, the Local Government
Loans Board Act 1926, and regulations thereunder, and of
all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City
Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty thousand two hundred pounds
(£20,200), to be known as the Acquisition of Properties Loan
1954, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland
City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose
of purchasing properties in Bright Street, Eden Terrace, and
in Wynyard Street and Alten Road, Grafton, and the cost of
raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one-ninth of one penny (1/9d.) in
the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City
comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st
day of June in each and every year during the currency of
the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.'

The above is a certified copy of a resolution passed at a
meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 30th day
of September 1954.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Peachgrove Housing Loan £14,500, 1954

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Hamilton
City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing
the interest and other charges on a loan of £14,500, authorized
to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purchase, subdivision, and improve-
ment of an area of land with frontages to Peach Grove Road,
Gillies Avenue, and Young Street, Hamilton, for housing
purposes, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one thirty-fourth of a penny in the
pound (1/34d. in the £) upon the rateable value (unimproved)
of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day
of September in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a reso-
lution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton
City Council held on the 29th day of September 1954.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by
the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Stratford Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £20,000, authorized to be raised
by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act, as The Stratford Borough Council Boundary Roads Loan,
1954, £20,000, the Stratford Borough Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny (19/16d.) in
the pound (£) upon the rateable value on the basis of
the unimproved value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Stratford comprising the whole of the Borough
of Stratford; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.'

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed at a special meeting of the Stratford
Borough Council held on Monday, the 30th day of August
1954.
