Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Oaonui Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 10 March 1949 and published in the Gazette on 17 March 1949, at page 733.

Classification of State Highway
PURSUANT to subclause (10) of regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950 (as substituted by regulation 4 (1) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, Amendment No. 8), the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 29th day of June 1950* in so far as it applies to the classification in Class Three of the State highway described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the National Roads Board’s proposed variation in the classification of the said highway as set out in the Schedule hereto.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed in Marlborough County (Notice No. Ag. 5743)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, the Director-General of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Marlborough County Council on the 17th day of September 1954.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Marlborough County Council resolves and declares by way of special order the plant named in the Schedule hereunder to be a noxious weed within the district of the County of Marlborough.

Kangaroo grass (Themeda triandra).

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto is a noxious weed within the County of Horowhenua.
