SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds ten shilling (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).
(3) The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of September 1954.

Authorizing the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the Hawke’s Bay County

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of August 1954

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorizes the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.


CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY

  1. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 4th day of August 1966.

ALL that portion of the Hawke’s Bay County described in the Second Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 3rd day of June 1954 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of the same month, at page 970.

Amending an Order in Council Authorizing the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby further amends the Order in Council dated the 8th day of May 1951 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of the same month, at page 640, authorizing the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to erect and use electric lines within the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 18th day of July 1951 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 19th day of the same month, at page 1005, by deleting the First Schedule thereto, and substituting the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensees, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 6th day of April 1925 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 16th day of the same month, authorizing Herman John William Nitz, Edgar Leonard Eugene Nitz, Paul Henry William Kummer, and John Bannister (Jun.), of Kaiwhata, Settlers, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect electric lines.
