Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests
Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting
on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and
of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of
a reserve acquired for provisional State forest purposes and
notified in New Zealand Gazette, No. 14, of the 9th day of
March 1950, is required for settlement purposes; and in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown
land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition
under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 2 (now known as part Section 20), and part
Section 1 (now known as Sections 23 and 26), Block XIII,
Taramarama Survey District: Total area, 155 acres 2 roods
28 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 90,
folio 180. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. X/95/55,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plans
4514 and 4825.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of August 1954.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests
Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting
on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and
the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto, being part of a provisional
State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 5th
day of July 1920 and gazetted on the 8th day of that month,
is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and
after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional
State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for
sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the
provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Taharoa A No. 5 Block, situated in Block II,
Marokopa Survey District: Area, 128 acres, more or less.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/133, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red. (M.L. Plan 96014.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of August 1954.

Land Held for Housing Purposes Set Apart for a Police
Station in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for
housing purposes, is hereby set apart for a police station;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 23rd day of August 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood
19Β·82 perches.

Being Lot 389, D.P. 15931, being part Section 50, Hutt
District, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 577, folio 205
(Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District (City of
Lower Hutt).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of August 1954.
