Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block I, Aparima Hundred

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John Haslemore and Edward Joseph Haslemore, both of Fairfax, Farmers, as tenants in common under and by virtue of Crown Lease (Volume 150, folio 140, Southland Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Arthur Bulman and Ellen Teresa Bulman, both of Fairfax, Farmers, as tenants in common under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 8990 (Volume 6, folio 116, Southland Land Registry), are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of August 1954.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Anderson Pears, of Mossburn, and John Monteith Pears, of Mossburn, as executors, and Mary Cunningham Pears, of Mossburn, as executrix of Jane Cunningham Pears, deceased, and James Anderson Pears, of Mossburn, Sheep Farmer, under and by virtue of license to occupy education endowment lands for pastoral purposes No. 428, E.R. Volume 167, folio 53 (Southland Land Registry), is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of August 1954.

Land, Subject as to Part to a Leasehold Estate and a Pipe Line Easement, and an Easement Over Land Taken for Housing Purposes in Block XIV, Pigeon Bay Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to part to memorandum of lease No. 8964 (Canterbury Land Registry) and the pipe line easement created in and by the said memorandum of lease, for housing purposes; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for housing purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of stormwater drains and sewer pipes under, along, and over the said land, and to use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of stormwater and sewage, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of August 1954.
