THE UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given under the Public Works Act 1928 that the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt require to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public work (namely, for street); and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during office hours at the offices of the Upper Hutt Borough Council, Upper Hutt.

All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth all well-grounded objections to the execution of such public work or the taking of such land and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Upper Hutt Borough Council, Upper Hutt.

SCHEDULE

Firstly, all that piece of land, 12·1 perches, situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part of Section 128, Hutt District, together with a right of way over that part of the said Section 128, on Deposited Plan 17115, created by conveyance 29172, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Volume 532, folio 46.

Secondly, all that piece of land, 33 ft. wide, shown as a private road, 33 ft. wide, being the strip of land over which the right of way above mentioned was reserved by conveyance 29172.

Thirdly, all that piece of land containing 32·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 128, Hutt District, and being Lot 14, on Deposited Plan 1831, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Volume 203, folio 32. (Part of the said land not required for street purposes to be reserved for disposal subsequently to adjoining occupiers.)

Fourthly, all that piece of land containing 4·47 perches situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part of Section 128 of the Hutt District, and being also the part marked “drainage reserve” on Deposited Plan 1831, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Volume 532, folio 80.

Fifthly, all that piece of land containing 17·3 perches, being part of Section 128, Hutt District, and being part of Lot 15 on Deposited Plan 1831, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Volume 285, folio 118.

WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL

APPOINTING MANAGING RATEPAYERS OF THE LINDSAY WATER RACE

IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 5 of the Water Supply Amendment Act 1913, on the requisition of a majority of the ratepayers of the Lindsay Water Race District, the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves by way of special order that the following named persons shall act as Managing Ratepayers of the Lindsay Water Race, and are hereby authorized to exercise all powers conferred on the Council by the Water Supply Act 1908, and its amendments, except the power of (a) altering the race; (b) controlling the accounts; (c) striking the rate.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work (namely, waterworks), and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing 171 acres 30 perches, more or less, being Allotment 60, Parish of Otan, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1011, folio 267 (Auckland Registry).
