PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Extra Urban Planning Scheme for part of the County of Lake intituled the Lake County (Wanaka) Extra Urban Planning Scheme No. 1, which was finally approved by the Town Planning Board on the 11th day of March 1952 pursuant to the provisions of the Town Planning Act 1926 and the Town Planning Regulations 1927, has, by virtue of section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, become a section of an operative district scheme of the County of Lake within the meaning of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme may be inspected in the County Council’s offices at Queenstown, without fee, by every person who so requires at any time when the Council’s office is open to the public.

LINDIS RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan 1954 of £5,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 the Lindis Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
‘‘That, for the purposes of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Lindis Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building and/or acquiring houses for use by employees of the Board, the said Lindis Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·353 pence per acre upon all the rateable property of the Lindis Rabbit District situated in the County of Vincent, Otago Central, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’’
