Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserve described in

URSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pur-
suant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the
said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions
of the last mentioned Act, to form part of the Mount Roskill
Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain
Board.

Hauraki Plains Drainage District--Notice of Intention to
Make and Levy Rates

OTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to
the Hauraki Plains Act 1926, to make and levy, on the
unimproved value of all land within the district constituted
under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance
costs for the period 1 April 1954 to 31 March 1955, as
described in the Schedule hereto.
The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on
30 August 1954.
The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection
at the office of the Collector of Rates, Room 8, First Floor,
Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and
a copy of same may be inspected at the Land Drainage Office
of the Ministry of Works at Kerepeehi, at all times at which
those offices are open for the transaction of public business.

SCHEDULE

Class A.--On the unimproved value of all lands classified
as Class A by the appraiser appointed under the said Act,
eightpence and fifty-eight one-hundredths of a penny (8.58d.)
in the pound.

Class B.--On the unimproved value of all lands so classi-
fied as Class B, fourpence and nine-tenths of a penny (4.9d.)
in the pound.

Class C.--On the unimproved value of all lands so classi-

OTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to
the Swamp Dainage Act 1915 and its amendments, to
make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within
the Poukawa Drainage Area constituted under the said Act,
the general rates described in the Schedule hereto, such
respective rates being for the purpose of meeting maintenance
costs for the period ! April 1954 to 31 March 1955.
The amount of the general rates will be payable in one
sum on 30 August 1954, together with the amount of the
annually recurring special rates already made and levied.
The valuation roll of the area will be open for inspection
at the office of the Collector of Rates, Room 8, First Floor,
Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a
copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Commis-
sioner of Crown Lands, Post Office Buildings, Napier, at all

OTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to
the Swamp Drainage Act 1915 and its amendments, to
make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within
the Kaitaia Town District Subdivision of the Kaitaia Drainage
Area constituted under the said Act, the general rate described
in the First Schedule hereto, and on the unimproved value of
all land in the subdivision of the Kaitaia Drainage Area
outside the Kaitaia Town District the general rates described
in the Second Schedule, such respective rates being for the
purpose of meeting maintenance costs for the period from
1 April 1954 to 31 March 1955.
The amount of the general rates, together with the
amount of the annually recurring special rates already made
and levied, will be payable in one sum on 30. August 1954.
The valuation roll of the area will be available for
inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Room 8,
