ARTHLUR WOOD AND SONS LIMITED

IN LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the
matter of ARTHUR WOOD AND SONS LIMITED (in
liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company,
by entry in its minute book dated the 21st day of June
1954, has passed the following resolution:

"That, as it is proved to the satisfaction of the company
that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business
and that it is advisable to wind up, it is hereby resolved that
the company be wound-up voluntarily, and that LEWIS
FREDERICK BUTCHER, of Feilding, Public Accountant, be and
is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such
winding-up."

All persons or companies having claims against the above-
named company are required to send full particulars thereof,
if such has not already been done, to the undersigned on or
before the 31st day of July 1954, otherwise they may be
excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Plant Loan 1954, £10,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Counties
Act 1920, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other
Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Raglan County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest and other loan charges on a
loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County
Council under authority of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926
for the purpose of purchasing quarry plant and trucks, the
said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 0·22d. in the pound (£1) upon the unimproved rateable
value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the
County of Raglan; such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of seven (7) years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a special meeting of the Raglan County Council held on
the 28th day of June 1954.

Orton Drainage Loan 1954, £2,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Counties
Act 1920, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other
Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Raglan County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest and other loan charges on a
loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County
Council under authority of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926
for the purpose of constructing drains and purchasing and
installing pumps in the Orton Drainage District, the said
Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 7·8d. in the pound (£1) upon the unimproved rateable
value of all rateable property in the Orton Drainage District;
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of September in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the
loan is fully repaid."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a special meeting of the Raglan County Council held on
the 28th day of June 1954.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Counties
Act 1920, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other
Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Raglan County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest and other loan charges on
a loan of £7,000, authorized to be raised by the Raglan
County Council under authority of the Local Bodies' Loans
Act 1926 for the purpose of erecting at Ngarunawahia two
staff houses with garages, the said Raglan County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·085d. in the
pound (£1) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable
property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of September in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the
loan is fully repaid."

TAWA FLAT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Tawa Flat
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000), authorized
to be raised by the Tawa Flat Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing bridges
and culverts, the said Tawa Flat Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of one penny
(1/10d.) in the pound (being the unimproved value) upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tawa Flat
Borough District comprising the whole of the said Borough
District; and that such special rate shall be an annually re-
curring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years,
or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Tawa Flat Borough Council at an
ordinary meeting held on the 30th day of June 1954.
