Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951
(Notice No. Ag. 5665)
PURSUANT to subclause (14) of regulation 40 of the Stock
Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951, notice
is hereby given that the Stock Remedies Registration Board
has resolved that the provisions of the said regulation shall
not apply to the biological product known as ‘‘Chloromycetin
10% Veterinary Solution’’.

Position: Point Howard Wharf Lights. Lat. 41° 15.2′ S.,
long. 174° 54.1′ E. (approx.) on chart 1423; lat. 41°
15.3′ S., long. 174° 54′ E. (approx.) on chart N.Z. 50.
Details: A white triangular beacon, apex uppermost, has
been erected on the light structure in the above position. A
similar white triangular beacon, apex uppermost, has been
erected in a position 145° (T) 3,880 ft. from the above
position.

Notice to Mariners No. 47 of 1954
INFORMATION REGARDING RADIO BEACONS
MARINERS are advised that during the next few months
intermittent transmissions will be made for testing
purposes from new and altered radio beacons. Mariners
observing these beacons during such testing periods are
requested to furnish reports, as to the efficiency or otherwise
of the various bearings obtained, to the Secretary, Marine
Department, P.O. Box 2395, Wellington. The testing periods
will be for about one month.
A list of the new beacons is given below in the order in
which it is anticipated testing will be made.
Taiaroa Head Lighthouse (ZLOQ):
Position of station: Approx. 0.75 mile 165° from lighthouse;
lat. 45° 47′ S., long. 170° 45′ E.
Frequency: 291.5 kc/s.
Type of emission: A2.
Normal range of station: 100 miles.
Call sign: ZLOQ.
Identification letter: ‘‘Q’’.
Dog Island Lighthouse (ZLOJ):

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the
Public Trust Office Act 1908 (Part II) (Unclaimed Lands)
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have,
for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office
Act 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry
with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder,
and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in
respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by
section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with
the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto:
And whereas the owner has not established his title to
the said lands as required by that Act:
Now I hereby give notice that the said lands are, under
and by virtue of that Act, vested in the Public Trustee as
aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and
will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act 1908,
the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of
that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 20 acres, more or less,
situated in Block VIII, Alford Survey District, being Rural
Section 8506, and being all the land in certificate of title,
Volume 98, folio 89 (Canterbury Registry), the registered
proprietor of which is John Hogan, of Wellington, Miner.
