BOUNDARIES OF THE AWARUA RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF SOUTHLAND
All that area situated in the Southland Land District, being part of the Southland County, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the City of Invercargill where the middle of Dee Street intersects the said boundary; thence northerly along the middle of the Main North Road to the middle of the road along the north of Section 16, Block XIII, Invercargill Hundred; thence easterly along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the middle of the road intersecting Section 20, Block XIII aforesaid; thence northerly along the middle-line of the said road and that line produced to the middle of the Makarewa River; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of the Makarewa River to a point in line with the road intersecting the south-western corner of Section 183, Block I, Forest Hill Hundred; thence north-westerly by a right line to the middle of the road near the south-western corner of the said Section 183; thence north-westerly, north-easterly, and easterly along the middle of the said road intersecting the said Section 183 adjoining the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block I aforesaid, intersecting Section 184, Block I aforesaid, and along the northern boundaries of Section 184 aforesaid, Section 185, Block I aforesaid, and Section 186, Block V, Forest Hill Hundred, to a point in line with the eastern side of the road along the eastern boundary of Section 117, Block V aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern side of the said road to the south-western corner of Section 442B, Block V aforesaid; thence by a right line due north for a distance of 85 chains; thence by a right line due east for a distance of 85 chains; thence by a right line due north for a distance of 200 chains; thence by a right line to a point on the western boundary of the Waimumu Hundred, approximately 270 chains north of the south-western corner thereof; thence southerly along the said western boundary of Waimumu Hundred to the said south-western corner thereof; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Waimumu Hundred to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 60, Block II, Lindhurst Hundred; thence southerly by a right line to and along the said western boundary of Section 60 to the south-western corner thereof; thence easterly along the southern boundary of the said Section 60, and Section 59, Block II aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 24 on plan numbered 176A, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Invercargill; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 24, and that boundary produced to the middle of a road forming the southern boundary of the said Lot 24; thence easterly generally along the middle of the road forming the northern boundary of Lot 21 on the plan numbered 176A aforesaid, Lots 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 78, and 14 on plan numbered 175A, deposited as aforesaid, Blocks II, VIII, Lindhurst Hundred, Lots 13 and 3 on plan numbered 174, deposited as aforesaid, Blocks VIII and III, Lindhurst Hundred, Lots 40, 39, 32, and 31 on plan numbered 175, deposited as aforesaid, Blocks III and IV, Lindhurst Hundred, to the middle of the Edendale-Mataura Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of the said road, to and across the Waimumu Stream; thence down the left bank of the said steam, which also forms part of the southern boundary of the Borough of Mataura, to the middle of the Mataura River; thence southerly generally along the middle of the Mataura River to a point in line with the middle of the Edendale-Glenham Road; thence north-westerly to and along the middle of the said road to the eastern boundary of Edendale Town District; thence north-easterly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 82E, 81E, 80E, 79E, 78E, 77E, 76E, 75E, 74E, 73E, and 72E, Edendale Settlement, Block III, Mataura Hundred, to Crescent Road; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Section 72E, across Village Road, and along the northern boundary of Section 61E, Edendale Settlement aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the said Section 61E; thence by a right line across a railway reserve and a road reserve to the north-eastern corner of Lot 7 on the plan numbered 1273, deposited as aforesaid; thence in a westerly, southerly, and easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Lot 7, the western boundaries of the said Lot 7, Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, and the southern boundary of the said Lot 1, all on the plan numbered 1273 aforesaid, to the north-western corner of part Lot 1 on the plan numbered 534, deposited as aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the north-eastern corner of part of Section 235 on the plan numbered 1196, deposited as aforesaid; thence in a north-westerly direction along the northern boundaries of the said part Section 235, Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11 on the plan numbered 1273 aforesaid, and that boundary produced, to and along the northern boundaries of Lots 12, 13, and 14 on the plan numbered 1273 aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 14; thence in a south-westerly direction along the western boundaries of Lots 14 and 15 on the plan numbered 1273 aforesaid, and the latter boundary produced to the middle of the Invercargill-Dunedin State Highway; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the middle of the road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections 132E, 83E, 84E, and 134E, Edendale Settlement, Block V, Lothian Hundred; thence south-westerly along the middle-line of the said road and that line produced to the southern
side of the Invercargill-Dunedin Railway Reserve; thence easterly generally along the south side of the said railway reserve to a point in line with the middle of the road intersecting Lot 117 on plan numbered 115, deposited as aforesaid; thence southerly along the middle of the said road to the middle of Flemington Road; thence westerly along the middle of the said road, and north-westerly along the middle of the road forming the south-western boundary of Lot 26, on plan numbered 115 aforesaid, to the middle of the Invercargill-Dunedin State Highway; thence south-westerly along the middle of the said road intersecting Sections 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 43, and forming the southern boundary of Sections 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block VI, and Sections 17 and 16, Block V, Invercargill Hundred, to the middle of the road forming the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block V aforesaid; thence southerly along the middle of the said road forming the eastern boundary of Sections 6, and 5, Block V, and Section 28, Block II, Invercargill Hundred, to the middle of the road forming the southern boundary of the said Section 28; thence south-westerly along the middle of the said road forming the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 28, and Sections 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 16, 15, 14, 13, and 8, Block II, and Sections 7 and 6, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, to the boundary of the City of Invercargill hereinbefore described; thence northerly, easterly, and westerly generally along the said city boundary to the place of commencement.

Redefining Boundaries of the City of Wanganui, the County of Waitotara, and the Brunswick-Westmere Riding of the County of Waitotara
PURSUANT to section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Wanganui, the County of Waitotara, and the Brunswick-Westmere Riding of the County of Waitotara, the previous boundaries having been altered by Order in Council dated the 10th day of February 1954, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 11 of the 11th day of February 1954.

BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF WANGANUI
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point being the north-eastern corner of Lot 9 on Plan 2223, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence proceeding southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 30, Right Bank Wanganui River, to the right bank of that river; thence south-westerly generally down that river to the sea, and north-westerly along the sea-coast to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 461 on Plan 3060, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 461 to its northernmost corner; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 461, 460, 459, 458, and 457, on Plan 3060 aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence by the production of the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 457, across a public road, to the south-western boundary of Lot 519 on Plan 4912, deposited as aforesaid; thence along the south-western and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 519 to its northernmost corner; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of the land shown on Plan 4912 to the north-western boundary of Lot 1 on Plan 4913, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the land shown on Plan 4913 aforesaid to the north-western side of Waitai Street; thence along lines bearing 145° 19′, distance 1550 links, bearing 145° 23′, distance 640 links; thence along a line bearing 108° 31′ to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of the land shown on Plans 4242 and 3943, deposited as aforesaid; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the northern side of the Town Belt; thence south-easterly along the northern boundary of the Town Belt to the westernmost corner of Lot 93 on Plan 1863, deposited as aforesaid; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Lot 93 aforesaid to the Heads-Mosstown Main Highway; thence across that highway, and north-easterly along its eastern side to the south-western corner of the land shown on Deeds Plan 250, and containing 36 acres 2 roods, being part of Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River; thence easterly generally along the southern boundaries of that land to the south-western corner of Lot 7A on Plan 2139, deposited as aforesaid; thence northerly, easterly, and again northerly along the western boundaries generally of Lots 7A, 7, 5A, 5, and 3 on Plan 2139 aforesaid to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence by a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 7 on Plan 2006, deposited as aforesaid; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 7 to its north-western corner; thence south-easterly along the southern sides of Fox Street and Fitzherbert Avenue to Carlton Avenue; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-western and
