PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
His Worship the Mayor of Bluff, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Bluff Harbour Board, ex officio,
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Southland Land District, or his deputy, ex officio,
Norman Benthoid Wily Haszard, and
Frank Halliday Pearce
to be the Bluff Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a public domain.

Appointing Person to Regulate and Control the Traffic and Navigation on the Waitara River
PURSUANT to section 202 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby appoints

to regulate and control the traffic and navigation of the Waitara River in such manner as he may deem necessary for the safety of life and property on any portion of the river mentioned.

Notice Under the National Savings Act 1940, Section 4
PURSUANT to section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940, the Minister of Finance hereby prescribes that the fifteenth investment period shall run from 30 June 1954 to 30 June 1955.
The rate of interest to be paid on investments in an investment account during such investment period shall be 3 per cent.
Moneys invested during such investment period by deposit in an investment account shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1957.
Provided that where interest is not withdrawn in terms of section 8 (2) of the said Act and is added to the principal moneys of the investor, such amount of interest, together with interest thereon, shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1955.
National Savings Bonds issued during such investment period shall be repayable five years after the date of issue thereof.
The rate of interest to be paid on National Savings Bonds purchased during such investment period shall be 3Β½ per cent.

PURSUANT to section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940, the Minister of Finance hereby authorizes the Trustees of the undermentioned savings banks (being savings banks constituted under the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948) to receive investments by way of deposit in investment accounts under the National Savings Act 1940 during the investment period expiring on 30 June 1955.
