Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933 that by memorandum signed by all the shareholders for the purpose of becoming an entry in the minute book of the company, as provided by subsections (1) and (3) of section 300 of the Companies Act 1933, the following special resolution was duly passed on the 6th day of May 1954.

‘That the company be wound up voluntarily.’

BOROUGH OF ELLERSLIE

Town and Country Planning Act 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Ellerslie Borough Council at a meeting held on Tuesday, the 4th day of May 1954, has resolved to prepare for the Ellerslie Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme will deal with:

  1. The zoning or definition of areas to be used exclusively or principally for specified purposes or classes of purposes.
  2. The preservation of objects and places of historical interest or natural beauty.
  3. The designation of reserves and proposed reserves for civic, cultural, and community purposes, for recreation grounds, ornamental gardens, parks, and children’s playgrounds, and for open spaces.
  4. The designation of open spaces for purposes of value to the community on land not intended to be owned by the Council.
  5. Public access from place to place, car parks, transport terminals, and public transport systems, including their creation, establishment, closing, removal, alteration, and diversion; traffic routing; the co-ordination of street widths with land uses and population densities; off street provision for vehicles while being loaded or unloaded or standing; the fixing of building-lines in relation to highways.
  6. Sewerage, drainage, and sewage and rubbish disposal.
  7. Lighting and water supply.
  8. Buildings, with particular reference to----
    (a) Their position on allotment and in relation to any highway and to other buildings;
    (b) Their density, use, character, height, and harmony in design and external appearance:
    (c) Verandas in commercial streets:
    (d) Open space about buildings:
    (e) The fixing of building-lines for amenity and other purposes.
  9. Provision and preservation of amenities, including regulation and control of outdoor advertising displays.
  10. Control of subdivision.
  11. Land subdivision standards in relation to any permitted use.
  12. Minimum site areas and dimensions in relation to uses of land and buildings.
  13. Ancillary or consequential works and all other matters involving the principles of town and country planning.
    Every owner of property and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit in respect of the above matters, suggestions which, in his or their opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme. Suggestions marked ‘Ellerslie Borough District Scheme’, should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 30th day of July 1954.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

BELMONT FIRE ENGINE LOAN 1953, £1,400
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

‘That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £1,400 authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a fire engine for the Belmont Secondary Urban Fire District, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Epuni Riding of the County of Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’

We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held at Wellington on the 13th day of May 1954.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that Mounseys Limited has changed its name to Mounseys Investments Limited, and that the new name was this day entered in my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and of all other powers (if any) thereunto enabling, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows:

‘That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and principal and other charges on the Purangi Bridge Renewal Loan 1953, of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the Council’s share of the costs of a new bridge over the Waitara River at Purangi, on the Inglewood-Purangi Main Highway No. 820, the said Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0732 pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Inglewood; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’
The above resolution was proposed by Cr. A. J. T. Webb and was seconded by Cr. G. F. Gyde and carried.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Inglewood was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Inglewood County Council in the presence of—

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of THE OTAGO IRON ROLLING MILLS COMPANY LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 14th day of May 1954, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £108,420 to £18,070 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 18th day of May 1954. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

‘The capital of the said company is £18,070 divided into 18,070 shares of £1 each, all of such shares being fully paid up.’
