Portion of a Public Reserve Taken for a Service Lane in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a service lane and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of May 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve taken: 7·55 perches.
Being Lot 6, D.P. 7126, Right Bank Wanganui River, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 309, folio 197 (Wellington Land Registry).
Situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District (City of Wanganui).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of May 1954.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Tauranga Milk District Constitution Order 1954.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1954.

The Tauranga Milk District, as constituted by the Tauranga Milk District Constitution Order 1946,* shall hereafter consist of the Borough of Tauranga as from time to time constituted.

The Tauranga Borough Council shall continue to be the Milk Authority of the Tauranga Milk District.

The Tauranga Milk District Constitution Order 1946 and the Tauranga Milk District Constitution Order 1946 Amendment No. 1, are hereby consequentially revoked.

Authorizing the Laying-off of an Extension of Havelock Place, in the City of New Plymouth, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the New Plymouth City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 143180, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Taranaki Land District, City of New Plymouth, being an extension of Havelock Place, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9·5 perches, more or less, being part Lot 23, D.P. 7313, being part Section 8, Grey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143180, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 254 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 14 March 1932 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 19 of 17 March 1932 at page 546, and affecting Hauhungaroa 1A 1 and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 182 of the Counties Act 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers on the Castlpoint County Council all the powers with respect to the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes exercisable by a duly constituted Borough Council under sections 81 to 84, 86 to 88, and Part XX (with the exception of sections 251, 253, and 254), and section 346 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and also section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1938.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Robert Short Anderson (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors and administrators or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Taieri River, as shown on the plan marked M.D. 9687 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway and passenger staging thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
