11. Haulage and Storage Charges, New Plymouth - Breakwater Line—continued
(c) In cases where loading and/or unloading is performed by the Department, the charges for goods of Classes N, P, and R in less than the prescribed minimum wagon loads will in no case be less than when computed on actual weight at the classified rates for such goods plus the prescribed loading and/or unloading charges.

The charges on ships' goods, Classes C, D, and G will be computed in accordance with reg. 127, General Scale of Charges.

Livestock carried between the Moturoa Cattle-yards and the New Plymouth Breakwater will be charged 27s. 6d. per H or J wagon, 36s. 6d. per Hc or Jc wagon, and 55s. per bogie wagon.

Goods of Classes C and D conveyed between New Plymouth Station and the Taranaki Freezing-works Co.'s Siding at Moturoa will be charged 9s. per ton.

Small lots of goods for shipment, stored at New Plymouth, will be charged at the rate of 1s. 10d. per ton per day or part of a day (minimum charge, 7d. per day): Provided that after receipt of notification from ship's owner or agent of acceptance of cargo for the ship no charge will be made for the day of loading in railway wagon, the following day, and the day of shipment.

Goods discharged ex-ship at New Plymouth Breakwater and conveyed to New Plymouth for delivery will be allowed free storage on the first day they are available for delivery and the following day. After the expiration of this period storage will be charged at the following rates:
For the first four days, per day or part thereof ... ls. 10d. per ton. Minimum charge, 7d. per day.
Each succeeding day or part thereof ... 3s. 8d. per ton. Minimum charge, 1s. 3d. per day.

This charge when applied to tobacco-leaf will be computed on measurement.
13. Private Sidings at Kaiwharawhara
- The following charges will be made for the haulage of wool, sheep-skins, rabbit-skins, hemp, and tow between Wellington and Levin and Co.'s Ltd. private siding at Kaiwharawhara:

14. Haulage Charges, Napier - Breakwater Line
- Goods hauled between the Napier Harbour Board's line at Ahuriri and the railway station, or private stores and sidings, at Ahuriri will be charged 3s. 8d. per ton; minimum charge per wagon, 7s. 4d.
Livestock will be charged 27s. 6d. per H or J wagon, 36s. 6d. per Hc or Jc wagon, and 55s. per bogie wagon.
- Except as otherwise provided, goods from or to Napier and stations beyond, will be charged as follows for haulage between the Napier Harbour Board's line at Ahuriri and the Ahuriri Railway station:

Wool, 3½d. per bale.

Timber, 4½d. per 100 super ft.
Livestock, 7s. 6d. per four-wheeled wagon, n.o.s., 10s. per Hc or Jc wagon.

Other goods, 8d. per ton.
