H. J. Jones and Co. Ltd., Lincoln Road, Masterton, has applied for permission to shift two pumps from their present site on garage premises at Lincoln Road to a new site in Chapel Street, 14 ft. from edge of footpath, and also for permission to move one pump installed in Chapel Street approximately 46 ft. forward.

City Car Park and Service Station Ltd., 173-183 St. Asaph Street, Christchurch, has applied for permission to shift the company's pumps from the present site to new islands a short distance away and nearer the footpath at 173-183 St. Asaph Street, Christchurch.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 20 May 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land in the Otago Land District for Other Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the area described in the First Schedule hereto has been acquired as permanent State forest land by way of exchange (together with leasehold interests in Section 8, Block V, Rankleburn Survey District) for the area described in the Second Schedule hereto pursuant to the Forests Act 1949.

Description of Area Acquired

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Tuapeka County, containing by admeasurement 127 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, being Section 25, Block VI, Rankleburn Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 185, folio 237. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/73, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 1441.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

Description of Area Exchanged

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, containing by admeasurement 261 acres, more or less, being Section 11 (formerly Section 10 and part of Sections 1 and 2), Block V, and Section 1, Block VI, Rankleburn Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/72, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 9759.)

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

All those areas in the Canterbury Land District, Kowhai County, containing by admeasurement 150 acres, more or less, and described generally as follows:

All that area containing 40 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 2799, part of Rural Section 15430, and part of Lot 5 on D.P. No. 1869, being part of Rural Section 37081, situated in Block XV, Grey Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 326, folio 124.

Also all that area containing 40 acres, more or less, being Rural Sections 2002 and 2798, situated in Block XIV, Grey Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 400, folio 51. (Limited as to parcels.)
