Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Okere-Taheke Development Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1939,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936.

Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 454 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Taumarunui Maori Township U 2B Block, situated in Block II, Piopiotea Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 12-03 perches, more or less, and being the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 435, folio 203. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.L.P. 1923/4/21, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of March 1954.

Additional Land Near Corbett Road Taken for the Purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
23-5 perches.
Being part road adjoining or passing through Railway land, being parts Sections 19 and 19A, Bell District.
Situated in Block II, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki County. (S.O. 8521.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11708, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of April 1954.

Additional Land at Alexandra Taken for the Purposes of the Otago Central Railway

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Otago Central railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
1 rood 15-7 perches.
Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 5388, being part Section 6, Block XXVII, Town of Alexandra, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 298, folio 195 (Otago Registry).
Situated in the Borough of Alexandra.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of April 1954.
