25 MARCH]THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE465Amending Open Seasons for Game in Certain Acclimatization DistrictsPURSUANT to the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby amends the notice dated 16 February 1954 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of 25 February 1954 at page 300, as follows :1. By adding to that part of the notice that relates to the Mangonui-Whangaroa Acclimatization District the following words :
“'Closed Game Areas (previously known as Excepted Areas), as published in Supplement dated 27 February 1952 to New Zealand Gazette of 21 February 1952 at page 295, and amended by notice dated 11 February 1953 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 10 of 26 February 1953 at page 260, further amended as follows :
'Add—
“(48) Part Section 30. All Sections 31, 36, and 37, Block XI, Takahue Survey District. Present occupier: John Ellis Dyer.”
- By revoking so much of the notice as relates to the Waitaki Acclimatization District, and substituting the following :

“(2) The Otatoki Creek and its tributaries to within three chains of the Okarito Lagoon, as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.”
- By adding to that part of the notice that relates to the Rotorua Acclimatization District the following words :
“'Closed Game Areas (previously known as Excepted Areas), as published in Supplement dated 27 February 1952 to New Zealand Gazette of 21 February 1952 at page 297, and amended by notice dated 16 February 1954 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of 25 February 1954 at page 300, further amended as follows :

BODKIN, Minister of Internal Affairs.Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize them while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
