Road Traversing Maori Land Proclaimed as a Public Road in Blocks XII and XVI, Tuhua Survey District, South Auckland Land District
[I.S.] C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Maori Land and has been used by the public as a public road:
And whereas the Maori Land Court, by an order made on the 9th day of September 1952 and issued pursuant to section 484 of the Maori Land Act 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:
A. R. P. Being portion of
O 3 34 Lot 1, D.P. 12782, being Part Rangitoto Tuhua 67B 1 Block; coloured sepia.
Situated in Block XII, Tuhua Survey District. (M.L.C. plan 16916.)
1 2 30 Waituhi Kuratau Block; coloured yellow.
Situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Tuhua Survey District. (M.L.C. plan 16916.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1438c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3109, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of February 1954.

[I.S.] C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Maori land and has been used by the public as a public road:
And whereas the Maori Land Court, by an order made on the 5th day of March 1953 and issued pursuant to section 484 of the Maori Land Act 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 rood.
Being part of Maori roadway (Aparima Maori Reserve) adjoining Sections 3 and 6 and subdivisions 30, 31, 32, and 33 of section 2, Block XXV, Jacobs River Hundred. (S.O. plan 5716.)
In the Southland Land District; as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2917c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3111, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of February 1954.
