MOUNT HERBERT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 the
Mount Herbert County Council hereby resolves as follows:-

"That for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds
(Β£2,500), authorized to be raised by the Mount Herbert
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing moneys for the purchase of a section
of land at Governor's Bay and the erection thereon of a
worker's dwelling for use by a Council employee, the said
Mount Herbert County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of 0.053 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
capital value of all rateable property in the Mount Herbert
County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be pay-
able yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the
matter of certain land to be taken for a road by the
body corporate called the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Otorohanga.

NOTICE is hereby given that a plan of lands required to
to be taken or severed by such taking by the body
corporate called the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of
the County of Otorohanga for the purposes of a road has
been deposited in the office of the Council at Ballance Street,
Otorohanga; and all persons affected by the taking are
hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the taking or severance of such lands, and to
send such writings, within forty days of the first publication
of this notice, to the County Clerk at the said office of the
Council; such lands being more particularly described in the
Schedule hereto.

AREA of land to be taken: 3 roods 16.6 perches.
Being part of Lot 2, Deposited Plan No. 9029, being portion
of Kaipika No. 8 Block, coloured yellow. (Certificate
of title No. 613/35.)

AREA of land to be severed: 1 rood 7.7 perches.
Being part of 2 on Deposited Plan No. 9029, being portion
of Kaipika No. 8 Block; coloured yellow. (Certificate

Plan No. 35934.
