CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electric Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- In respect of the electric lines hereby authorized the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and shall be a direct-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1974 or until electrical energy is available from an Electric Power Board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s wool store situated in Lot 1, part Tawhiti No. 1r, Block IVA, Tokomaru Survey District, in the County of Waiapu, and proceeding as follows:
(a) To the licensee’s storeroom building, two cottages, and the harbourmaster’s residence, all situated within the said Lot 1.
(b) Easterly generally to and along a public road and across the Waihi Stream to a shed; then south-easterly to and along the licensee’s wharf.
(c) South-westerly generally to and along the said public road; then north-westerly along Ryland Road to the licensee’s cottage situated in Section 8, Tawhiti No. 1b 1w, Block IV, Tokomaru Survey District.
The said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plans marked S.H.D. 254/1 and S.H.D. 254/2, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to George Lovelock Simpson, of Tariki, Farmer, by Harold Meriton Taylor, of Tariki, Dairy Farmer, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 5th day of September 1951 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 6th day of the same month at page 1343, authorizing him to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Ohura North Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 5527)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section 31 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request of the Board of any rabbit district, may by Order in Council alter and redefine the boundaries of its district:
And whereas the district known as the Ohura North Rabbit District has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said Act:
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the said section 31 of the said Act, requested that the boundaries of its district be altered and redefined by including an additional area therein:
And whereas the consent of a majority of the persons in such additional area qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers’ list for the said district has been given to the inclusion of such additional area in the said district:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district accordingly:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby—
(1) Alters and redefines the boundaries of the said district so constituted as aforesaid;
(2) Declares that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto; and, further,
(3) Declares that this Order in Council shall come into force on the day following publication hereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OHURA NORTH RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area situated in the Taranaki Land District, being portion of the Ohura County containing one hundred and twenty-nine thousand seven hundred (129,700) acres, approximately, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the northern boundary of the Ohura County; thence southerly down the middle of the said river to a point in line with the west side of the Okoroa Road; thence north-westerly to and along the said side of this road to the eastern boundary of Section 23, Block I, Rangi Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 23, 9, and 8 of the said Block I to and across the Opotiki Road; thence south-westerly along the southern side of the said road and the Ararimu East Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Section 10, Block I, Rangi Survey District; thence across the last-mentioned Road and westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of the said part Section 10 to the north-eastern corner of Section 9, Block IV, Ohura Survey District; thence generally westerly along the northern boundaries of the said Section 9, Section 14, Block VIII, Sections 8 and 2, Block IV, Ohura Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned Section; thence southerly and westerly along the western boundary of the said Section 2, across Waitangata Road, and south-westerly by the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Ohura Survey District to the Tiro trigonometrical station; thence south-westerly by a right line to the Wharehanga trigonometrical station; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of part Section 9, Block VII, Ohura Survey District, to the boundary between Blocks VII and XI, Ohura Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of the aforementioned Block VII to a point in line with the northern side of Huia Road; thence to and generally westerly along the northern side of Huia Road to the eastern boundary of the Ohura Town District, and northerly along the said boundary to the Ohura Road, and generally northerly along that road to the Waitewhena Road, and generally northerly along the Waitewhena Road to the boundary between Blocks II and VI, Ohura Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of Blocks II and I, Ohura Survey District, to the Mangakara stream, and generally northerly up the Mangakara Stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block I, Ohura Survey District; thence to, and generally northerly and easterly along, the western and northern boundary of Block I, Ohura Survey District, to the western boundary of Subsection 2 of Section 3, Block XIII, Aria Survey District; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of the aforementioned Subsection and also Section 2, Block XIII, Aria Survey District, to the northern boundary of Block XIII, Aria Survey District; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Blocks XIII and XIV, Aria Survey District, to a point 40 chains north-west of Section 26, Block XV, Aria Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to a point on the eastern boundary of Block X, Aria Survey District, distant 60 chains north-west of the northernmost corner of the said Section 26; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of Block X, Aria Survey District, to the northern boundary of the Ohura County, and generally easterly along the northern boundary of the Ohura County to the Ongarue River, and thence to a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the aforementioned County boundary, being the point of commencement.

Revoking the Declaration of Main Highways and Declaring Public Highways to be Main Highways

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Main Highways Act 1922, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that on and after the date of this Order in Council the main highways and portions of main highways described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be main highways, and further declares that the roads described in the Second Schedule shall be main highways within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act 1922,
