Revoking the Vesting in the Waiheke West Public Hall and Library Board of the Control of Reserves for Sites for a Library and Hall

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Waiheke West Public Hall and Library Board as reserves for sites for a library and hall respectively by an Order in Council dated the 26th day of September 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 27th day of that month, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928 :

And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lot 437, Deposited Plan No. 25861, being part Te Huruhi No. 5D Block, situated in Block V, Waiheke Survey District: Area, 32 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 623, folio 156.

Also Lot 448, Deposited Plan No. 33180, being part Te Huruhi No. 5D Block, situated in Block V, Waiheke Survey District: Area, 32 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 732, folio 223.

Setting Apart Maori Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of October 1953

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use of the owners thereof as a burial-ground.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area of land containing 10 perches, more or less, situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, being part of the Wainui B 2 Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under the number S.O. 22867.

Conferring on Waimea County Council Certain Powers of Borough Councils with Respect to Drainage and Sanitation and Certain Additional Powers with Respect to Water Supply

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 182 of the Counties Act 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers on the Waimea County Council all the powers with respect to drainage, sanitation, and the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes exercisable by a duly constituted Borough Council under section 91 and Part XIX of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and also section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1938.
