A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of November 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 11·35 perches.

Being part Lot 7, D.P. 16955, being part Block 29, Church Mission Reserve, Section 2, Town of Tauranga.

Situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District (Borough of Tauranga) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 36218.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141430, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the rights of way described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby taken for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of November 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 38 perches.

Being part Reserve marked No. 2 in the public map of the City of Wellington, together with right of way over part of said Reserve, 10 ft. in width and 63 ft. in length and running south-east from the said piece of land parallel to and distant 155 ft. from Hobson Street, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 14, folio 283 (Wellington Land Registry), together with right of way appurtenant thereto created by Memorandum of Transfer 74890 over parts of the land described in certificates of title, Volume 14, folio 284, and Volume 139, folio 119 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of October 1953.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for Social-security Purposes (Surgery) in Block II, Kawatiri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Eileen Mosley, of Waimangaroa, Married Woman, and James William Hennessy, of Waimangaroa, Flax-miller, as tenants in common in equal shares, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 42, folio 145 (Nelson Land Registry), is hereby taken for social-security purposes (surgery); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of November 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the above-described leasehold estate is taken: 32 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 4856, being part Section 3, situated in Block II, Kawatiri Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in leasehold certificate of title, Volume 42, folio 145 (Nelson Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of October 1953.
