Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (Part II)-Unclaimed Lands

WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands) made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have in respect of the said lands given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto:

And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act:

I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).

SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre, more or less, being situated in Block XI of the Kowai Survey District, and being Lot 42, part of Reserve 1824, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 128, folio 77, Canterbury Registry, the registered proprietor of which is Ellen Purnell, wife of George Purnell, of Springfield, Miner.

D. R. Weeber, corner Main North and Seadown Roads, Seadown, Timaru, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from two pumps to be installed on service-station and garage premises at corner of Main North and Seadown Roads, Seadown, Timaru.
Maber Motors, Ltd., Commerce Street, Putaruru, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Commerce Street, Putaruru.
Burnside Service Garage, Ltd., 109 Main South Road, Burnside, Dunedin, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 109 Main South Road, Burnside, Dunedin, and otherwise than through pumps from an oil company depot at Dunedin.
