Notice Respecting Tariff Inquiry on Cigarette Tubes, Cigarette Papers, and Cigarette Paper

It is hereby notified that the report made by the Board of Trade pursuant to the Board of Trade Notice 35* respecting (a) the rates of import duty imposed under Tariff item 236 (2) on cigarette tubes, -papers, and -paper, n.e.i., and (b) the excise duty on cigarette tubes, cigarette papers and cigarette paper, has been considered by the Government and it has been decided not to amend the duties at present imposed on such goods.

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Withdrawal Notice (No. 3) 1953.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 2nd day of October 1953.
