A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road ; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of September 1953.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 26th day of August 1953.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block X, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Geoffrey George Alexander Smith, of Christchurch, Pensioner, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 181, folio 82 (Canterbury Land Registry), is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of September 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 4·8 perches.

Being part Section 13, Wharemai Hamlet.

Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7619.)
