A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Palmerston substation).

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of July 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of July 1953.

Land Taken, Together with a Right of Way, for a Music and Dance Hall in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto together with the right of way appurtenant thereto is hereby taken for a music and dance hall, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of July 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 3·5 perches.

Being part Town Sections 276 and 277, being all the land in D.P. 3444 and D.P. 3595, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 247, folio 63 (Wellington Land Registry), together with the right of way over all that parcel of land being other part of Section 277, delineated and coloured yellow on the certificate of title above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of July 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of July 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 20·26 perches.

Being part Lot 22, D.P. 9507, being part Section 2, Wainui District.

Situated in Block I, Paekakariki Survey District (Hutt County). (S.O. 22853.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140625, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of July 1953.
