All that area adjacent to Otaki consisting of that portion of the Levin-Paekakariki State Highway No. 13 commencing at the northern end of the Otaki River Bridge, proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at a point adjacent to Waerenga Road where the said State highway intersects the south-eastern boundary of Otaki Borough.

Sale of Unclaimed Property

IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the Police at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, 4 July 1953, be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the District.

Board of Trade Notice No. 67—Review of Import Licensing

IT is hereby notified that the Board of Trade has examined the objections lodged to the proposed exemption from import licensing of the following items in the Import Licensing Schedule and has decided not to recommend de-control until after a review of the appropriate tariff duties takes place.

Tariff Item Description
Ex. 300 (2) (c) Paper, n.e.i., including tin-foil paper, and gummed paper, n.e.i., in rolls less than 10 inches wide, except such rolls specially suited for industrial or similar purposes in such widths not exceeding 2 inches, as the Minister may determine (excluding decorative crêpe paper).
Ex. 300 (2) (d) Gummed tape paper and gummed stay paper in rolls, n.e.i.
