NGARUAWAHIA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE A SPECIAL RATE
New Fire-engine Loan
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 the Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“‘That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £3,520, authorized to be raised by
the Ngaruawahia Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purchase of a new fire-engine, the said Ngaruawahia
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two
and thirteen-sixteenths of a penny (2+3/16d.) in the pound upon
the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the
whole of the Borough of Ngaruawahia; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Ngaruawahia
Borough Council at a meeting of the Council held on
