Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 93 acres, more or less, and being Section 18, Block V, Thames Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/75, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (South Auckland plan S.O. 36004.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1953.

Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.


SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, containing by admeasurement 2,985 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, and described generally as follows:—

All those areas containing by admeasurement 2,326 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Sections 11, 15, 16, 19, 20, and 24, Block IX, and Sections 2, 4, and 5, Block X, Otumahana Survey District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 376 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Sections 1 and 13, Block IX, Otumahana Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Section 14, Block IX, aforesaid; towards the west generally by a public road along the east bank of Harvey’s Creek, Section 15, Block IX, aforesaid, again by the aforesaid public road and Section 2, Block IX, aforesaid; towards the north-west by part of Section 1A, Block IX, aforesaid; and towards the north-east by the other parts of Sections 1 and 13, Block IX, aforesaid.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 282 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section 10, Block IX, Otumahana Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 7, Block IX, aforesaid; towards the east by Section 11, Block IX, aforesaid; and towards the south-west by the other part of Section 10, Block IX, aforesaid.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 101/16, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1953.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation Taking Additional Land at Wiri for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the 26th day of July 1948 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year, at page 923, taking additional land at Wiri for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 5 acres 3 roods.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 35463, being part of Clendon’s Grant.

Situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau County.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11747, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1953.
