Revoking Portion of a Warrant Excluding Roads from Limitation as to Speed and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 3rd day of March 1937,* which applies to the road described in the First Schedule hereto and hereby declares the area described in the Second Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Turua Town District—Orongo-Netherton Main Highway No. 315 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Turua Town District to the junction of the main highway with the Piako Road Outlet Drain, a distance of approximately 53 chains; and all that portion from the southern boundary of Turua Town District to a point 8 chains south of the junction of the main highway with Raratuna Road, a distance of approximately 47 chains).

SITUATED within Hauraki Plains County—Orongo-Netherton Main Highway No. 315 (all that portion commencing at its junction with the Piako Road Outlet Drain and terminating at a point 8 chains measured in a south-easterly direction from its junction with Raratuna Street).

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being Testing Officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SITUATED within Hawke's Bay County—All that area adjacent to Hastings Borough consisting of that portion of the Farndon-Pakipaki Main Highway No. 567 commencing at its junction with Gordon Road, proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction and terminating at its junction with Williams Street.
