Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Matakana Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 4th day of October 1937, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 67 of the 7th day of October 1937, at page 2290, whereby the said land was declared to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936.

Revoking a Notice Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Otorohanga Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes a notice made on the 11th day of October 1937, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 70 of the 14th day of October 1937, at page 2350, whereby the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be subject to Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of Maori land in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court District, situate in Blocks VI and X, Mangaorongo Survey District, and known as Otewa A 1 Block (formerly Rangitoto A No. 42B No. 1 Block), containing 186 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 198, folio 8.
