BOROUGH OF CROMWELL
RESOLUTION SECURING SPECIAL RATE IN THE MATTER OF THE
SEWERAGE EXTENSION LOAN 1952, £3,500
RESOLVED, 'That, for the purpose of providing interest
and other charges on the Sewerage Extension Loan 1952,
£3,500, authorized to be raised by the Cromwell Borough
Council pursuant to the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and
amendments thereto for the purpose of extending the sewerage
scheme within the borough, the said Council hereby resolves
that a special rate of 1½d. in the pound, levied on all
rateable property in the Borough of Cromwell comprising the
whole of the Borough of Cromwell; and that such special
rate of 1½d. in the pound be made and levied on the aforesaid
rateable property and shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan of £3,500 and shall be
rateable half-yearly on the last day of the months of May
and November in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until
such time as the loan is paid off.'
Whereas the undersigned do now certify that the above
resolution is a correct copy from the minute-book of the
Cromwell Borough Council and was duly passed on the 4th
May 1953.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and
Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell was affixed hereunto
this 6th day of May 1953, in the presence of--

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Wellington City Aerodrome Development Loan No. 1,
1952, of £100,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans
Act 1926 and its amendments the Wellington City Council
hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan
of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) to be known as
the Wellington City Aerodrome Development Loan No. 1
1952, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying
out works associated with the Rongotai Aerodrome Development
Scheme, the Wellington City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of sixty-three eight-hundredths of a
penny (63/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within
the whole of the City of Wellington; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the
said loan, being a period of twenty-four (24) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.'
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of May 1953.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by section 31 (6) of the Finance (No. 3) Act
1944, the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Local Government
Loans Board Act 1926, and regulations thereunder, and of
all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City
Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on an amount of £50,400, to be known as the North-
western Outlet Loan, 1951, which amount is proposed to be
raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-
mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting its share of the
cost of constructing a highway outlet to the north of Auckland
City, known as the North-western Outlet, and meeting the
cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-fortieths of
one penny (%40d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in
the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and shall be repayable yearly on the 1st day of June in
each and every year during the currency of the said loan
or until the loan is fully paid off.'
The above is a certified copy of a resolution passed at a
meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 30th day
of April 1953.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
existing between DONALD GARDNER and ARTHUR
RAYMOND TURNER, both of Waipawa, Builders, has been
dissolved by mutual consent as from 10 November 1952.
All claims in connection with the said partnership are
to be rendered to the said Arthur Raymond Turner whose
address is 'Richmond Park', Waipawa, Hawke's Bay.

RURAL HOUSING LOAN SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Bay of
Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges of a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000),
authorized to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of financing
the erection of or additions to dwellings for farmers and farm
workers, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value (based on the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the County of Bay of Islands; and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty-five years, or until such loan is fully paid
off.'
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Bay of
Islands County Council held in the Council Chambers, Kawa-
kawa, on the 15th day of April 1953.
