Land Taken for a Quarry and for the Purposes of a Road
in Block II, Punakitere Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land first described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry; and that the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of May 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

A.  R.  P.    Being
16  0  37    Part Punakitere 2b 3 Block.
 4  3  28    Part Punakitere 2b 3 Block.

Situated in Block II, Punakitere Survey District (Auckland R.D.) (S.O. 37715.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140062, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of May 1953.

Land Taken for a War Memorial in the Borough of Te Kuiti

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a war memorial and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Te Kuiti as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of May 1953.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken. 19·8 perches. Being Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 4795, being part Section 22, Village of Te Kuiti, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1039, folio 143 (Auckland Land Registry).

Situated in the Borough of Te Kuiti.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of April 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton motor-way.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of May 1953.
