A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, 1, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of road closed: 7 acres 3 roods 16·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lot 1, D.P. 5904, being part Section 3, Urenui District, and Subdivision A, D.P. 2235, being part Sections 1, 2, and 3, Urenui District.
Situated in Block III, Waitara Survey District (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8510.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139989, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of May 1953.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 12 acres 3 roods 6·2 perches.
Being part Section 82, Porirua District, situated in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 567, folio 285 (Wellington Land Registry).

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 85 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for employees' houses and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Rabbit Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of May 1953.

Varying the Determinations in Respect of Portion (£2,200) of the Ashburton Electric-power Board's Loan of £80,000

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of April 1953

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made the 6th day of June 1951 (hereinafter called the said Order in Council) and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Ashburton Electric-power Board (hereinafter called the said local authority) of a loan of eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) to be known as ‘Special Loan No. 10 1951’ (hereinafter called the said loan):
And whereas portion of the said loan amounting to two thousand two hundred pounds (£2,200) (hereinafter called the said sum) has not yet been raised:
And whereas in accordance with clause 3 of the said Order in Council provision is made for the repayment of the said sum by the redemption of debentures in the following manner—namely, two hundred pounds (£200) in the 17th year, one thousand pounds (£1,000) in the 19th year, and one thousand pounds (£1,000) in the 20th year, and it is expedient to vary the provision for repayment as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies the provision for repayment of the said sum, as contained in clause 3 of the said Order in Council by providing that the said sum or any part thereof shall be repaid by the redemption of debentures in the 15th year from the date of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof.
