of 19 March 1953, at page 476, and in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 17 of 26 March 1953, at page 518, under the
heading 'the Finance Act (No. 3) 1934—Interest on Income
Tax Paid in Advance' for the date '31 March 1953' read
'31 March 1954'.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth
Railway.

Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of April 1953.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land decribed in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for housing purposes; and that the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 27th day of April 1953.
