SECTION C—EXTRAORDINARY SUPPLY

In cases where an extraordinary supply is given or in
cases not covered by the foregoing Sections A or B, the Depart-
ment may fix a charge which is considered reasonable under
the circumstances.

SECTION D—PREPAYMENT METERS

Where prepayment meters are installed the charge (net)
shall be—

7d. per unit for lighting; and
2½d. per unit for domestic heating and cooking purposes.

SECTION E—MINIMUM CHARGE

The minimum charge shall be 4s. (net) per month for
each connection to the system. Where two or more con-
sumers are supplied through the one connection the minimum
charge shall be levied on each consumer.

Given under the Common Seal of the Department of
Tourist and Health Resorts, as incorporated under
the Rotorua Town Act 1907 and the Rotorua Borough
Act 1922, and under the hand of the Minister in
Charge of the said Department, this 17th day of
March 1953.

Special Order Made by the Waitemata County Council

Altering Riding Boundaries

Pursuant to section 100 of the Counties Act 1920, as
amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act
1921-22, I hereby fix the 1st day of April 1953 as the date
from which the following Special Order made by the
Waitemata County Council shall take effect.

Dated at Wellington, this 17th day of March 1953.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, in exercise of the power conferred upon it by section
23 of the Counties Act 1920, and amendments thereto, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves by way of Special
Order that the boundaries of the Takapuna, Birkenhead,
Pukeatua, Wainui, Kaukapakapa, Mairetahi, Kumeu, Waitakere,
Waipareira, Waikumete, and Titirangi Ridings be amended to
comply with the annexed Schedule of certified descriptions as
supplied by the Chief Surveyor, North Auckland Land District.
That the said descriptions replace those now in force.''

SCHEDULE

MAIRETAHI RIDING

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being
part of the Waitemata County bounded by a line commencing
at a point in Block V, Kumeu Survey District, on the shores
of the Tasman Sea in line with the north-western boundary
of Ururua Nos. 1A 1 and 2D 2A Blocks and running northerly,
easterly, and southerly generally along the aforesaid shore,
the southern and western shores of the Kaipara Harbour, to
and up the left bank of the Kaipara River, and the middle
of the Waipatukahu Stream to a point in line with the south-
eastern boundary of Lot 4 as shown on the plan numbered
2370, deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office and
being part of Ruarangihaerere Block; thence westerly gener-
ally along a right line to and along the south-eastern boundary
of the aforesaid Lot 4, along another right line across the
North Auckland Main Trunk Railway and the Auckland-
Helensville State Highway, to and along the south-eastern
and south-western boundaries of Lot 3 on the aforesaid plan
numbered 2370, being part of the aforesaid Ruarangihaerere
Block, to the eastern boundary of the parts Ongarahu No. E
and Maramatawhana No. C Blocks taken for land dune
reclamation by the Proclamation published in New Zealand
Gazette No. 51 of the 5th day of July 1934, page 2083;
then e southerly generally along the eastern boundary of the
area taken as aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundary
of Part Puketapu Block taken as aforesaid by the Proclamation
published in New Zealand Gazette No. 79 of the 25th day
of October 1934, page 3379, to the north-western boundary
of Ururua No. 1A 1 Block, then westerly along the aforesaid
north-western boundary and the north-western boundary of
Ururua No. 2D 2A Block, and a right line, being the produc-
tion of the aforesaid north-western boundaries, to the shores
of the Tasman Sea, being the point of commencement.

KAUKAPAKAPA RIDING

All that area in the Waitemata County bounded by a
line commencing at a point in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey
District, on the right bank of the Kaipara River, being the
north-western corner of the Borough of Helensville, and
running northerly, easterly, and southerly generally along
the aforesaid left bank, to and along the boundaries of the
aforesaid county as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 80
of the 18th day of December 1952, page 2046, to the north-
eastern corner of Allotment E. 111, Parish of Waiwera;

hence southerly generally along the northern boundary of
Allotment E. 111 aforesaid, crossing an intersecting public
road, along the northern and western boundaries of Allotment
W. 111, the end of a public road, the western boundary of
Allotment W. 118, a right line across a public road along the
western boundaries Allotments N. 117, M. 117, S. 117, N. 116,
M. 116, the western and southern boundaries of Allotment
S. 116, the southern boundary of Allotment 37, to and along
the western and southern boundaries of Allotment 38, crossing
an intervening public road, to and along the western boundary
of Allotment 108, along a right line across a public road, to
and along the western boundary of Allotment 371, the aforesaid
allotments being all of the Parish of Waiwera; thence along
the western boundary of Lot 1 as shown on a plan numbered
26000, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 244
of the Parish of Pukeatua, and along a right line, being the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
a public road; thence along the middle of the aforesaid
road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Allot-
ment 104, of the aforesaid parish; thence along a right line,
to and along the aforesaid southern boundary, along the
western boundary of Allotment 245, the western and southern
boundaries of Allotment N. 246, the western boundary of
Allotment S. 247, and a right line, being the production of
the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a public road;
thence along the middle of the roads which form the eastern
boundary of Allotment 248, to and along the middle of the
White Hills-Silverdale Road, and along the middle of the
Kahikatea Flat Road to a point in line with the south-western
boundary of Allotment N.E.73; thence along a right line,
to and along the south-western boundary of Allotment N.E. 73
aforesaid, the western and southern boundaries generally of
Allotment 72, the south-western boundaries of Allotments 71
and W. 70, to and along the north-western boundaries of Allo-
ments N.E. and S.W. 77; thence along a right line, being the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a
public road; thence along the middle of the said public road
which forms the generally western boundaries of Allotments
S.W. 77, N. 53, M. 53, S. 53, to the alignment of the northern
side of Horseshoe Bush Road, along a right line across Horse-
shoe Bush Road aforesaid, to and along the western boundaries
of Allotment W. 40 and Allotment 41, all the aforesaid allot-
ments being of the Pukeatua Parish, and along a right line,
being the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the
middle of the Bald Hill Road; thence westerly generally along
the middle of the aforesaid road to the boundary of Allotment
4 of the aforesaid Pukeatua Parish; thence southerly gener-
ally along the eastern boundary of Allotment 4 aforesaid, to
and along the eastern side and southern end of a public
road, and along the eastern boundary of Section 5H, Riverhead
Homestead Settlement, to the northern corner of Ti Kokopu
Block and Allotment 58, Ararimu Parish, as shown on the
plan numbered 7967 deposited in the Auckland Land Registry
Office; thence westerly generally along the northern boundary
of the land as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 7967,
to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries
of parts Rautawhiri Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks as shown on the
plan numbered 3123A, deposited as aforesaid, to the eastern
boundary of the Borough of Helensville; thence northerly
and westerly generally along the boundaries of the aforesaid
borough as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 6 of
the 6th day of February 1947, page 157, to the point of
commencement, including the island of Kukutango.

WAINUI RIDING

All that area in the Waitemata County bounded by a
line commencing at a point in Block I, Waiwera Survey
District, being the north-eastern corner of Allotment E. 111,
Waiwera Parish, and running easterly and southerly generally
along the boundaries of the Waitemata County as described
in New Zealand Gazette No. 80 of the 18th day of December
1952, page 2046, to the stream forming the south-eastern
boundary of part Allotments 1 and 10 of Okura Parish, being
the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 584, folio 284 (Auckland Land Registry Office);
thence easterly along the south-eastern, southern, and western
boundaries of the aforesaid land, to and along the northern
and western boundaries of another part of the aforesaid
Allotment 1 to the middle of the public road forming the
north-western boundary of Allotment 189 of the aforesaid
Parish; thence along the middle of that road to a point in
line with the western boundary of Allotment 190 of Okura
Parish aforesaid; thence along a right line to and along
the aforesaid western boundary, along the north-eastern
boundary of Allotment 29; along a right line across the
East Coast Road, to and along the southern boundary of
Allotment 207 of the aforesaid parish; along the southern
boundary of Lot 4 as shown on the plan numbered 27443,
deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office, being part
of Allotment 7 of the aforesaid parish, and along a right
line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the
middle of the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State Highway;
thence northerly along the middle of the aforesaid highway,
to and down the centre of Johns Creek, and again westerly
up the centre of the Weiti Stream to a point in line with
the eastern boundary of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered
15644 deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 253,
Waiwera Parish, and Allotment 19, Okura Parish; thence
northerly along a right line, to and along the aforesaid
eastern boundary to the southern boundary of Allotment 276
of the aforesaid Waiwera Parish; thence westerly along the
aforesaid southern boundary, and along the middle of a
public road forming the southern boundaries of the aforesaid
Allotment 276 and Allotment 277 of the aforesaid Waiwera
