Vesting a Reserve in the Kiwitea County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of January 1953
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county buildings:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kiwitea:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kiwitea, in trust, for county buildings.

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county buildings:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hokianga:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hokianga, in trust, for county buildings.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a roadman’s cottage:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikohu:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikohu, in trust, for a site for a roadman’s cottage.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for tree-planting purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Alexandra:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Alexandra, in trust, for tree-planting purposes.

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Glenorchy Rabbit Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Glenorchy Rabbit Board, in trust, for Rabbit Board buildings.

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the University of Otago:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the University of Otago, in trust, for a marine biology research station.
