HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Dargaville Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green, or on the land shown coloured green, on the P.W.D. plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Dargaville, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 36·7 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 32998, being part Kaihu No. 2D Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138924, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Road in the City of Dunedin to be Under the Control and Management of the Dunedin City Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto excepting thereout the portion of subsoil comprised in Proclamation 2474 (Otago Land Registry) shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Dunedin City Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road dealt with : 17·59 perches. Being part Lots 26, 27, and 28, D.P. 7039, being part Section 35. Situated in Block VI, Town District (City of Dunedin), (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 11635.)
In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138829, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

The Western Side of Portion of Pariroa Road, in the County of Patea, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Patea County Council on the 5th day of August 1952, in so far as it affects the side and portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :
“ The Patea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Patea, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the western side of the portion of Pariroa Road fronting a subdivision of part Section 61, Patea Suburban, Block VII, Carlyle Survey District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 159 (Taranaki Registry) ”.

THE western side of all that portion of road situated in the Taranaki Land District, County of Patea, known as Pariroa Road, fronting a subdivision of part Section 61, Patea Suburban, Block VII, Carlyle Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138959, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Reservation of Land for School Purposes Revoked

WHEREAS the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto was reserved for the purposes of a school by the Warden of the Otago Mining District on the 2nd day of September 1899, pursuant to the Mining Act 1898 :
And whereas the assent of His Excellency the Governor-General to such reservation was given on the 25th day of October 1899 :
And whereas the said land is no longer required for the purposes of a school and it is expedient to revoke such reservation :
Now, therefore, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Mining Act 1926, do hereby revoke the above-recited reservation and do also hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect from the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land situated in Skipper’s Creek Survey District, containing 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, commencing at a point 750 links south of the junction of Murdoch’s Creek with Skipper’s Creek and bounded on the east generally by Crown lands for distances of 49 links, 73 links, and 56·4 links, on the west by Crown Lands for a distance of 162·2 links, and on the north generally by Crown lands for distances of 51·9 links and 154·6 links to the point of commencement ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 1st day of December 1952.
