Revoking the Reservation Over a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 6, Block III, Mangawhero Survey District: Area, 17 acres 2 roods, more or less. (S.O. plan 15008.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of November 1952.

Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 8 (formerly parts of Section 5), Square 34, situated in Block X, Motupiko Survey District: Area, 91 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 9749.)

State Forest Lands Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the State forest lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes:
And whereas the Minister in Charge of Scenery Preservation and Minister of Forests have also, pursuant to section 55 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1938, recommended that the said State forest lands should be declared scenic reserves, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendations:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 6 of the said Act and the said section 55 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1938, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the State forest lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being part Section 58A, Block VI, Waiopelu Survey District. (S.O. plans 14802 and 19834.)
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 66 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Section 55, Block VI, Waiopelu Survey District. (S.O. plan 14802.)
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 40 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Section 76, Block V, Waiopelu Survey District. (S.O. plan 14802.)
Also all that area situated in Blocks V and VI, Waiopelu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 75 acres 3 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Section 79, Horowhenua East Village Settlement. (S.O. plan 14844.)
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 10/95/38D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 38·38 perches, more or less, being Lot 50 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin under No. 7074, being part of the original bed of the Otago Harbour, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 359, folio 59 (Otago Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of November 1952.

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block VII, East Taieri Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 38·98 perches, more or less, being Lot 21 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office of Dunedin under No. 6495, being part Section 7s, Melville Park Settlement, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 328, folio 118 (Otago Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of November 1952.
