And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to
proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the
Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in
terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should
be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act
1931, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the
Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a public road
the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre
1 rood 33·5 perches.
Being portion of Kaitao-Rotohokahoka No. 1M Block.
Situated in Block XVI, Rotorua, and Block IV, Horohoro,
Survey Districts. (M.L. plan 9460.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/662/C,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, under No. 3097, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 22nd day of October 1952.
