Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in Whangaroa County

PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Whangaroa County Council on the 10th day of September 1951.

RESOLUTION
THAT, pursuant to section 22 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Whangaroa County Council assume responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 within the County of Whangaroa as from 10 September 1951.

Convention with Austria Regarding Legal Proceedings in Civil and Commercial Matters

IT is hereby notified for general information that the Convention regarding Legal Proceedings in Civil and Commercial Matters between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Austria, signed at London on 31 March 1931 and acceded to by New Zealand on 25 June 1932, was revived between New Zealand (including the Cook Islands, Niue, and the Trust Territory of Western Samoa) and the Austrian Federal Republic on 10 June 1952.

Time and Place of Election by Fire-insurance Companies of a Member of the North Shore Fire Board

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 12 o’clock noon on Friday, the 17th day of October 1952, as the time, and the offices of the Fire and Accident Underwriters’ Association, Auckland, as the place for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect one member of the North Shore Fire Board.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby approves the Vincent County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Vincent County.

Revoking Portion of a Warrant Declaring Zones of Parking Restriction in Wellington City
———
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, as amended by the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, Amendment No. 1, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 5th day of September 1947*, approving the application made by the Wellington City Council for a declaration of zones of parking restriction, which relates to the restriction on the parking of motor-vehicles to a maximum period of fifteen minutes between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the zone described in clause (c) of the Schedule of the said Warrant.

Revoking Portion of a Warrant Excluding Roads from Limitation as to Speed and Excluding Roads from the Speed Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 3rd day of March 1937*, which applies to that part of the road described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby excludes those portions of roads described in the Second Schedule hereto from limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the Town District of Kawhia for Health Purposes (District Nurse’s Residence)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for health purposes (district nurse’s residence); and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kawhia and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Being Section 73, Block II, D.P. 2893, being part Karewa Native Township situated in Kawhia Town District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 643, folio 78 (Auckland Land Registry).
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138302, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a public school—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Wanganui and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
