Issue of Miners' Rights by a Post-office

Administrator of the Government
Pursuant to the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Mining Act 1926, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary,
the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the post-office at Lawrence to be a post-office at which miners' rights may be issued by the Postmaster in charge.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 2nd day of October 1952.

Officers Authorized to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by section 301 of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under section 301 of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927.

Land Reserved in the Canterbury Land District

Whereas by section 167 of the Land Act 1948 it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for any purpose, which, in his opinion, is desirable in the public interest, and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 167 of the said Act, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby reserve, subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for general education purposes.

CANТЕRBURУ LAND DISTRICT
All that area situated in the City of Christchurch containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4657 (formerly parts of Rural Sections 48 and 48A), subject to the right of way over part of Rural Section 48 appurtenant to the land described in certificate of title, Volume 378, folio 102 (limited as to parcels created by Deed of Conveyance No. 28520 (Deeds 1 c/s 48) and also together with the right of way over part of Rural Section 48, being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 414, folio 200 (limited as to parcels and title), and created by Deed of Conveyance No. 17550 (Deeds 1 c/s 501) (Canterbury Registry). All that area situated in Block III, Waipu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 15·37 perches, more or less, being Lots 9, 10, and 11, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 17815, being part Allotment S. 20, Parish of Waipu, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 6, folio 172 (Auckland Registry).
