Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Motutara Domain

IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints
Malcolm Ivan Andrew, Arthur Thomas Gore, John Harold Houghton, Mervyn Patrick Jonas, Walter Frederick Reber, Arthur Henry Sorrenson, Norman Berridge Spencer, Frank Joseph Subritzky, and Donal Thurston Murray Thomson
to be the Motutara Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Saturday, the 1st day of November 1952, at 2 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Surf Club's Rooms, Muriwai Beach, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-MOTUTARA DOMAIN
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 53 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Section North 2 of Block IX, Kumeu Survey District, and parts of Motutara Maori Block. Also Section South 2 of Block IX, Kumeu Survey District: Area, 17 acres 9 perches, more or less.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/168A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 22939.)
Also all those areas situated in Block IX, Kumeu Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 3 roods 11-3 perches, more or less, being Lots 15 and 72 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 35335, being parts of Motutara Block.
Also all those areas situated in Blocks IX and XI, Kumeu Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 15 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, being Lot 89, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37374, being part Section 14, Block IX, aforesaid, and part Taupaki Block; and Lot 136, as shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 37175, being part Sections 13 and 14, Block IX, aforesaid, and part Motutara Block. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/168E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Administrator of the Government, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Strath-Taieri and Taieri Ridge Rabbit Boards:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Strath-Taieri and Taieri Ridge Rabbit Boards, in trust, for Rabbit Board buildings.
