POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD PURPOSES
NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended to take the lands hereunder mentioned under the Public Works Act 1928, for road purposes. A plan showing the lands affected and the owners thereof is open for inspection at the office of the Pohangina County Council at Pohangina.
All persons affected by the proposed works or by the taking of the lands are hereby called on to set forth in writing all well-founded objections to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, and to send such written objections to the Pohangina County Council within forty (40) days from the 9th day of August 1952.
The lands affected are an area of 2·39 perches, part Section 11, Block V, Pohangina Survey District, being the land more particularly shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 22427.

NOTICE is hereby given that a plan of lands required to be taken by the Waitomo Electric-power Board duly constituted under the provisions of the Electric-power Boards Act 1925 for purposes of electric works has been deposited in the office of the Board at Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga, and all persons affected by the taking are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days of the first publication of this notice, to the Board at its said office; the said land, being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act 1933 that a general meeting of the members of the company will be held in the offices of Messrs. Brent, Anderson, and Stewart, Fourth Floor New Zealand Express Company Building, 7-9 Bond Street, Dunedin, on Tuesday, 9 September 1952, at 9.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be required from the liquidator.

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title to fifty (50) units of 5 per cent cumulative preference stock, in lieu of original certificate No. 3050 issued in the name of DOROTHY ELLEN BERNARD, of Plimmerton, and the said Dorothy Ellen Bernard has made a statutory declaration that the original certificate of title to the said units of stock has been destroyed.
Notice is hereby given that, unless within thirty days from date hereof there is made to the company some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificate, a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.
