Appointments of Interpreters Under the Maori Land Act 1931

Appointment of Honorary Ranger
Pursuant to the provisions of the Harbours Act 1950, I,
William Stanley Goosman, Minister of Marine, do hereby
appoint
William Robert Johns
to be an Honorary Ranger of Beaches for the purpose of the
Harbours Act 1950, as from the date hereof.

Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority for No. 7 Transport
District
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by
section 87 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport
hereby appoints Clifford Lyle Bishop as District Licensing Authority
for the No. 7 Transport District for a term commencing on the
10th day of August 1952 and expiring on the 30th day of September
1953.

Redefining a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area
Pursuant to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1947,
the Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient
majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule
hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool
area for the marketing of bobby calves, does hereby declare such
area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing
Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name
set out in the said Schedule, and hereby further declares that this
notice shall take effect on the 21st day of August 1952.
SCHEDULE
BROADWOOD BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA
All that area of land situated within the Hokianga County and
bounded by a line commencing at the point where the southern
boundary of Block IX, Maungataniwha Survey District, crosses
the Hokianga County boundary to the west of the Mangamuka
River; thence in a straight line across country in a south-easterly
direction to the Otianga Trig., located in Block II, Mangamuka
Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a south-
westerly direction to the Ngatieke Trig., located in Block I, Manga-
muka Survey District; thence in a straight line across country
in a southerly direction to Rahuirapa Trig., located in Block V,
Mangamuka Survey District; thence in a straight line across
country in a southerly direction to the south-eastern corner of
Block V, Mangamuka Survey District; thence in a straight line
across country in an easterly direction to the point where the
Moturuna Creek flows into the Mangamuka River; thence following
Mangamuka River downstream to the Hokianga River; thence
following the Hokianga River downstream to the sea-coast; thence
in a northerly direction along the sea-coast to the boundary line
dividing the Hokianga and Mangonui Counties at the entrance to
the Whangape Harbour; thence continuing along the Hokianga
County boundary in a north-easterly direction to the point where
the said boundary meets the southern boundary of Block IX,
Maungataniwha Survey District, to the west of the Mangamuka
River, being the original point of commencement.
